I have this jacket in grey and while I have not worn it much yet so can't comment on durability, I find it a great fitting jacket and especially appreciate the many pockets. One minor criticism is that the patch pockets could maybe be a bit more roomy. I like that the material is 100% cotton but also waterpoofed. The shade of grey is really nice and it looks both smart and a bit sporty/practical. It seems to be well-made and is really good value for money.
The first one I ordered unfortunately had a very unusual manufacturing fault where the sleeve lining had been sewn in twisted so you could not get your arm through the sleeve (one star taken off quality as there wasn't a good QA given this slipped through). The return process was easy and free, and I was sent a replacemenmt quickly after posting it back. Overall, Lighthouse make good garments and provide good service.
This is a men's jacket and I'm a woman with boyish build and it fits me perfectly. I would say it's a great unisex jacket but then I have a sporty style.
I fit a size S in this, and compared to other men's jackets in size S it may come out a little smaller I think. In some brands, e.g Craghoppers a men's S is a bit larger. FYI I wear a women's size 12 and am about 5'7 tall with long arms and chest about 36-37".
S/M/L sizes are in themselves rather vague, so this is not a criticism but included for information, so that other potential buyers of either sex can pick the right size for them.
