I bought this coat as I wanted a waterproof coat that was ideal for dog walking. This coat is just the right thickness & is ideal for rainy days. I bought the next size up so I could wear layers underneath. Good quality material with a nice checked inside. Plenty of deep pockets too.

I wanted a coat that I could wear during the colder more miserable later months of thr year. Being so heavily waterproof this coat isn't breathable which is perfect for colder months. It would be far to warm for summer weather where a breathable option is recommended.
It's beautifully made. The shape is very flattering as you can adjust the waist using the inside cords. I purchased a size 16 (my size) and the fit will allow me to wear long thinner brecon type tops but I'd need to go a size up if I wanted to wear a thick jumper underneath. I have found though that with these non breathable windproof jackets, that a thick jumper isn't really necessary. I got through last winter wearing much thinner jumpers/long sleeve tshirts as the wind, cold and rain can't penetrate these types of fabrics keeping you so much warmer than many standard winter jackets. I have a slightly longer arm length but yhe arm length on the jacket was perfect. Might be an issue for more petite customers. Customer service was fantastic and coat came fully tracked and particularly loved that the outer packaging was recyclable.
