I wanted a more longer lasting raincoat than the two previous raincoats I had bought from Joules - the colour of both of which had faded within a year and made them look scruffy although they were still functional. I am hoping this raincoat from Lighthouse will keep its colour evenly, as well as being waterproof.

Compared to the two Joules coats I have had, the waterproof fabric of this coat is a little less fabric-like and more stiff and shiny, but still acceptably smart and stylish. The zipper is a little stiff to get going but I am hoping this will become easier to use in time. The coat had its first outing in steady light rain today, and the water beaded well on the coat but I haven't tested it under wetter conditions.

Overall, I really like the colour and quality of the coat, and the fit is stylish. I just hope it will wear well, and that it will still be looking smart in a year's time!

I like the raincoat but the sleeves are to long

I love this very dark blue colour with the flashes of yellow. I also love the smart tartan lining and corduroy edged cuffs and collar. It is a very robust, well made useful jacket particularly for changeable spring and summer weather. Wether with wellies, smart shoes or trainers it still looks classy.
