The popular Laurel gilet returns this season, made with the same Repreve® technology as our best-selling Laurel coat. Stay warm and cosy on autumnal walks, seaside ambles or when stopping for refreshment mid-wander. A useful ally on school runs, when the chill cuts through the sunshine, this gilet couples fashion with sustainability and practicality.
Made with a water repellent outer, the Laurel gilet is enhanced with an antique front zip with faux-leather puller and two useful front zipped pockets. The outer material benefits from being made from 100% Nylon, which offers enhanced durability.
Is this gilet warm? Yes, it is made with 160g of synthetic fill.
What length is it? It is hip-length.
Is it waterproof? This is water repellent (up to 1,000mm).
Is it machine washable? Yes, wash on the coolest setting.

I was delighted with this gilet. The cut and design of the panelling is very flattering. Loved the leather tabs on the zippers, which gives it the appearance of a more expensive garment. It is very cosy but very light in weight. What more could you expect from a gilet ? On a personal note, the collar was a bit too high for me but I sewed on some poppers to enable it to be turned over.
