The popular Laurel gilet returns this season, made with the same Repreve® technology as our best-selling Laurel coat. Stay warm and cosy on autumnal walks, seaside ambles or when stopping for refreshment mid-wander. A useful ally on school runs, when the chill cuts through the sunshine, this gilet couples fashion with sustainability and practicality.
Made with a water repellent outer, the Laurel gilet is enhanced with an antique front zip with faux-leather puller and two useful front zipped pockets. The outer material benefits from being made from 100% Nylon, which offers enhanced durability.
Is this gilet warm? Yes, it is made with 160g of synthetic fill.
What length is it? It is hip-length.
Is it waterproof? This is water repellent (up to 1,000mm).
Is the fit relaxed or fitted? It has a semi-fitted shape – not too snug, not too loose.
Is it machine washable? Yes, wash on the coolest setting.

This gilet is warm without being bulky. I take a 14 but opted for a 16 as it gives me a bit more room.

This gilet is a nice colour and well made but way too large. It is supposed to be a size 8 but feels and looks like a size 12. I am taking it in at the sides as it is easier to do this then return.
