The popular Laurel gilet returns this season, made with the same Repreve® technology as our best-selling Laurel coat. Stay warm and cosy on autumnal walks, seaside ambles or when stopping for refreshment mid-wander. A useful ally on school runs, when the chill cuts through the sunshine, this gilet couples fashion with sustainability and practicality.
Made with a water repellent outer, the Laurel gilet is enhanced with an antique front zip with faux-leather puller and two useful front zipped pockets. The outer material benefits from being made from 100% Nylon, which offers enhanced durability.
Is this gilet warm? Yes, it is made with 160g of synthetic fill.
What length is it? It is hip-length.
Is it waterproof? This is water repellent (up to 1,000mm).
Is it machine washable? Yes, wash on the coolest setting.

Very pleased with this gilet. It's lightweight, not bulky and still keeps you warm. The extra detail on the zip (rather than just plain metal) looks good, zip pockets are handy and the fit is great. I am size 10 -12. I bought the size 12 and this fits perfectly. I have a rather large chest (34F) and can find it frustrating that sometimes the fit on certain more fitted items can be too snug and squash the chest area. However, this gilet zips up perfectly and is not tight or restrictive. The sizing is generous without being too big. Lovely colour, good length. Thanks.

Excellent! Light and warm, very well made, lovely colour, great fit. Good zip, and, joy of joys, zipped pockets.
And good-sized inner drop pockets. It's very good, and really fit for purpose.
